  1. @IB3MOR3PR0 The Weather seems fine to me. Atleast it’s there. You could attempt a whole 24hr races in GT5 with weather and day/night cycle if you wanted. Same goes for the Nurbergring 24hr. I don’t understand what you mean by lazy? PDs team is one of the hardest working for 6 years straight. And you can tell that GT5 took 6 years of hard work to make. If you can’t then you havn’t played it through properly

  2. @SUPERBLAH28 But that’s the thing, All those weather effects are at lower quality. And if you want to cruise a car down Le mans. For the car to be as beautiful as it is IRL you would have to hope that PD weren’t lazy with that cars designing.

  3. @SUPERBLAH28 I agree. I never cared too much for Top Gear

  4. @whatnow1204 Yeah but it depends what you like. Id rather thave rally events, night racing/24hr cycle, weather effects etc… over TG content. The TG track is enough for me

  5. @IB3MOR3PR0 PD aren’t lazy, they just didn’t have the time to finish the game. Cars like the Veyron were supposed to premium.

GT5 tracks are indeed accurate (track measurements). It’s just that some tracks in GT5 has less details compared to Forza 4 because of crappy ps2 ports.

  6. @IB3MOR3PR0 Standard cars doesn’t use 400K polys only 4K. The only difference they’re just up-scaled for HD. If this was the case, standard cars will look almost on par as premiums. Forza 3 uses 75K polys during cockpit view, while GT5 uses 200K polys. T10 had to sacrifice details to keep a good fps. That’s why there’s no back seats during cockpit cam. I don’t care for the handling physics in Forza just the tire model that’s better than GT5′s tires. I admit T10 did better with Top Gear

  7. @SUPERBLAH28 There were too many features that got taken out of GT5. PD had the Stig Challenge, which got taken out because they didn’t have time to finish the game. While Turn 10 had enough time to fully implement the Top Gear feature.

  8. @IB3MOR3PR0 -suzuka and suzuka are clearly more accurate in gt5, especially since they are in Japan too. Check youtube vids comparing real life laps to those in gt5/forza and you will see what I mean. Also Top Gear is geared towards a more casual audience these days, as opposed to shows like Fifth Gear, or maybe even Best Motoring that are watched by more serious car enthusiasts aswell. So having TG content is more likely to attract those ‘casual’ car enthusiasts.

  9. @SUPERBLAH28 You’re wrong there. Not all the tracks in GT5 are as accurate as the ones provided in Forza 4, Such as suzuka, tsukuba, road america, Le man. Also how is TG stuff aimed at casual gamer? How is the worlds most renown automotive shot “ Casual „? I would say that PD needed a phew more sponsors seeing as they are still working on their so loosely called „Simulator“ that was released a phew years back.

  10. @IB3MOR3PR0 – Yeah but atleast all the real tracks in GT5 are more acurate than the ones in Forza. such as nurburgring in the above video, suzuka, tsukuba etc. Forzas is slightly off in places.Yeah Top Gear is nice but PD don’t need full TG sponorship to sell their game. Remember the Top Gear stuff is also aimed at the more casual car enthusiast to bring them into the game. If anything Forza sell out on it a bit too much. Modelled from the stig? so only white suit then

  11. @SUPERBLAH28 I have to agree with you apart from the tracks. The main let down with GT5 ( PD being lazy ) has effected the cars and tracks. That premium BS is even with the tracks. Like the difference between the amazing Rome tracks and the low quality of trial mountain <— personal favorite. Also what I think makes forza 4 better is the actual sponsorship of TopGear with the auto vista mode track and how your driver is modeled from the stig.

  12. @IB3MOR3PR0 -yeah I agree Forza has better sounds, customization etc. The physics are different to GT5 but aren’t in anyway better for worse, its just a different take on how the car reacts though a controller. But tiny details in GT5 like how everycar has a detailed description on its history, and how every paintcolour is named after the real ones, and how there are fully animated pitcrews, and the very accurate tracks. thats the attention to detail i speak of.

  13. @SUPERBLAH28 I do have to admit that the light engine in forza isnt that great, But that is the only thing that GT5 beats forza 4 in. The rest I.E sounds, Car detail, Modification, Attention to detail, Tire and handling physics and pretty much every thing. Also the Auto vista and the fact that our top gear track isn’t just a cheap little add in

  14. @IB3MOR3PR0 – BTW if you want to make a real looking game, the first thing to do is get the lighting engine right. Forza still hasnt done that, where as GT5 has been spot on since gt4. No amount of extra detail and polygons will improve the realism of the game if the way the lighting bounces of paintwork and objects isnt correct. Notice in the above video how GT5 is almost exactly the same as real life lighting wise? now go look at forzas nurburgring. its close but no gt5

  15. @IB3MOR3PR0 nope sorry your wrong. Only the autovista cars in forza4 are more detailed than gt5s premiums. The rest aren’t. Do me a favour and go compare the F40 model from both games. The one in Forza4 is quite bad, lacking in lots of details (eg, the grills are just a texture, you cant see through them, and the lines on the headlight casing are bent, which isnt right). Alot of forzas other cars are the same. GT5 is more consistant.

  16. @SUPERBLAH28 First off I am extremely passionate about cars, Have been all my life. But with GT5 i don’t see the need for 16 MX-5′s and 13 S2000′s, Which is what PD has done to boost car numbers Also the attention to detail is higher in forza for the same reason the graphics are better. The polygon count for GT5 is about 400,000 for standard cars and 500,000-600,000 for the 200 premium cars. In forza all cars have 1,000,000 polygons. If you have really played it you would know that.

  17. 77 forza fans hit the dislike and still watch the video, pffffffffffffffff

  18. @IB3MOR3PR0 – GT5 terrible lol? I think the only way to better it is to go outside and drive a real car. If you don’t like GT5 then you aren’t as passionate about cars as you think you are. The attention to detail in GT5 is vastly superior to Forza, which is a racing game aimed more at casual players. Don’t get me wrong though its still a great game too, Ive been playing it alot recently, but it is in no way better than GT5, but not worse either.

  19. Hi guys if anyone says gran turismo 5 looks ugly make them watch this and take a photo of their „im so stupid“ face :D

  20. Real life got pwned…

whatever when Real life 2 is coming?

  21. Thats why GT5 is the Real Driving Simulator !

  22. Man i love the feel of Gran Tourismo in the morning :D

  23. @IB3MOR3PR0 dude in not gonna get argued with you because you would know that playstation will always win Microshit’s failbox 360

  24. @IB3MOR3PR0 Forza did have better sound effects, customization, and all that, but physics didn’t cut it for me. I swear it felt like NFS shift, oh and i had all aids turned off.

  25. @IB3MOR3PR0 hahaha dude A.I. in forza 4 are fucking stupid, they literally have mental breakdowns, I would always be on the inside of a turn and the dumbasses would never ever stay on the outside they would always ram into me like idiots. Forcing me to always be on the outside. Forza feels too arcadish I had high expectations and almost sold my ps3 thank God I didn’t. sold forza the next day and went back to gran turismo.

Forza 1 was the best one ever other than that
    Forza=NFS shift=arcade
