But there should be a small correction as „The Sound of Silence“ from Simon & Garfunkel its from 1967 actually from the movie „The Graduated“ so do is „I Started a Joke“ by the Bee Gees is from 1969

My fav year was 1976. 17 years old, left school , left home & spent the year picking apples and opening scallops and just soaked up every song. Now if i hear a song i know instantly when its from that year

My friend had a 1970 Duster. He drove it until almost 1990, when the front axle finally snapped in half. He loved that car.
All that this illustrates is that commercials then were as annoyingly bad as they are now.
